MULTI AWARD WINNING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

We exhibited at The Unconventional Wedding Festival for couples looking for unique, eclectic, creative, quirky and alternative wedding inspiration.

The wedding festival was held in the stunning and picturesque grounds of Stanford Hall Estate a Grade 1 listed House nestled on the banks of the River Avon in the heart of the Midlands beautiful countryside.

Stanford Hall Wedding Venue is truly a glorious place, with 700 acres of ancient parkland, birds singing, towering green mature trees and a long driveway, a wonderful wedding venue for either a luxury, decadent, formal traditional occasion or a free spirited, festival tipi or outdoor celebration or blessing.

At the Unconventional Wedding Festival at Stanford Hall Estate Lutterworth Leicestershire, there were many different types of unique and wonderful outdoor wedding structures from fabulous tipis, alternative wedding marquees and bell tents with different themed and styled zones for alternative and creative wedding inspiration. 

The festival tipi zone that the festival zone suppliers worked together to create on arrival looked really impressive, all the suppliers including ourselves worked really hard to try to make it a success, including the talented wedding planners and wedding stylists, the wedding florist, the show-stopping neon sign creator, the creative cake designer, the fantastic cheese cake cart, the lovely light-up love letters, the hand-made stationary company, the awesome outside drinks bar, the cool food van, the super Photo Booth, the alternative hand painted jackets, the fun crazy golf and of course the amazing tipi itself, all of which made our zone welcoming and a stunning, stylish, relaxing and friendly place for couples to visit. Most of the wedding suppliers were Midlands based so ideal if you were thinking of having your wedding at Stanford Hall or at a Midlands venue it was a great place to chat to so many wedding suppliers in one place over the weekend.

We set up our own mini consultation and seating area, a comfy vintage chesterfield chair, a bright yellow retro chair, a copper based table, a copper backdrop with lots of colourful ribbons and kiko frames, a Bowie frame, neon signs, our wild black mannequin lamp, lots of colourful rugs on the floor with happy retro cushions for people to sit and relax and look through our new luxury wedding albums, all brought along in our happy hire van for the weekend.

There were lots of different zones from festival vibe zone, bohemian spirit, fantasy, sci-fi, urban chic, vintage, Arabian nights, fairytale, VIP, a style inspiration & emporium, a pop up hotel & a tropical chill out zone.

Colourful, unique and alternative food & drinks vans, horse boxes & buses, fantastic ideas for eclectic, quirky and creative weddings, or outdoor and tipi weddings were setup around the estate grounds and enjoyed by visitors in the sunshine. Even though the show was quieter than expected, the grounds of the Hall were beautiful to walk around and the sun was shining, happy days :)

Most of the zones had awesome photo-booths too, from caravan photo booths, to horse box photo booths to amazing vintage camper van photo booths. Nearly all the zones had at least one wedding photographer exhibiting in each zone, so there were lots of photography companies to choose from giving couples who were looking for a photographer a fantastic variety of different styles of photography and approaches :) Good times :)

It was a year in the planning with ourselves and the Unconventional Wedding group and other suppliers, with both of us attending five networking and planning meetings towards the event, to meet other suppliers, to hear about the plans for the event, an introduction to the venue, a meeting about the Friday daytime styled shoot, and a venue visit to see the layout of the show and areas for photography for the Friday daytime styled shoot, however the styled shoot was cancelled on Friday evening for our zone.
