The professional and friendly photographer for the new brand ‘Lovely Creatures’ will still be the super experienced Ed at Ed Brown Photography.

The approach at ‘Lovely Creatures’ will still be the same as Ed Brown Photography, professional, friendly, unobtrusive, relaxed, and documentary.

The style with ‘Lovely Creatures’ will offer stunningly beautiful, soulful, edgy, organic, documentary, film-inspired imagery, creating emotive and soulful colour images and edgy raw grain in the emotive black and white images.

The ethos of ‘Lovely Creatures’ is the same as Ed Brown Photography, putting our wonderful clients front and center and offering the best possible service we can, providing images that our awesome clients will truly love and a company based on principles of equality, integrity, and professionalism with super friendly and personal service.

Victoria M Boam and Ed Brown are joining a growing business community including Virgin Media, Ford, Deloitte, Elsevier, and JCB - all committed to disability inclusion. 

Scope and Virgin Media found that a quarter of businesses (26 per cent) claim that they have never had a disabled candidate for a job interview[1] despite there being a million disabled people who want to work – right now.

The good news is that change isn’t difficult, and businesses have a pivotal role in getting more disabled people into and thriving in the work environment.

We were recently approached by the company www.usbmemorydirect.com in which Patrick was our point of contact. His warmth and sincerity is what led us to accept the offer of receiving some usb free of charge in exchange for an honest review.

Well we must say that we were very impressed. Usually when sent complimentary usb products they are often low quality, and of slow speeds. This was absolutely NOT the case here, as they were usb 3.0 and all of the usb we received had no issues with data transfer.

Faye brought together the creative concept and her own superb calligraphy and dynamic creative skills and a range of fabulously talented wedding suppliers to be a part of this awesome styled shoot.

It was amazing to work alongside so many awesomely talented wedding suppliers, it was a wonderful and inspirational day.

The shoot was held at the stunning wedding venue Swancar Farm Country House, Trowell, Nottingham an idyllic country house and beautiful backdrop for your wedding photographs.

Ed very rarely has time to be involved in styled shoots so it was a total pleasure to be involved in a different creative area in the wedding industry and for Ed to use his lighting skills, techniques and experience in a different way and show a varied style to what he normally shoots.

We always thought awards were for big companies & companies that could afford to enter lots of expensive industry awards, this isn’t true for TWIA, the cost is very affordable & the awards are for everyone.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We were so unsure whether we should enter, how to do it, whether the judges would get us as we are often seen as a little different and do things very differently to others in our field. We have a different mindset and we don’t fit the mould. But entering was so easy and at the last minute, although very nervous, we went for it!⠀⠀⠀

We were so excited to be a finalist and to attend the awards evening, get dressed up & to see other suppliers we had worked with all dressed up and excited to be at the event was awesome.

The best part of the awards evening was watching all of the suppliers proudly going up on stage and receiving their certificates or awards and everyone clapping and supporting everyone’s hard work.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We were so so happy to win the regional Award & it meant such a lot to both of us, it really did make our year. To receive all of the wonderful feedback from our clients brought tears to our eyes. We have worked so hard over the years, like so many other companies, so to enter an award for the first time and actually win was amazing!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

TWIA is the only industry awards that genuinely recognises the hard work that the business owners/co-owners and teams put in.

We can easily say that since winning TWIA, 2019 has been our busiest year & 2020 is also nearly fully booked & we have had the good fortune to help other photography companies with work when we have been fully booked ourselves. Our business has gone from strength to strength. We have gained more confidence that being an individual brand & doing your own thing is ok & that you don’t need to follow the masses to be successful; believe in yourself, your brand, your company ethos, be good to your clients (they deserve the best!) & don’t try and be anything but yourself.

THE UNCONVENTIONAL WEDDING FESTIVAL | CREATIVE, ECLECTIC, quirky & ALTERNATIVE WEDDING INSPIRATION | stanford hall wedding photographer

MULTI AWARD WINNING WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

We exhibited at The Unconventional Wedding Festival for couples looking for unique, eclectic, creative, quirky and alternative wedding inspiration.

The wedding festival was held in the stunning and picturesque grounds of Stanford Hall Estate a Grade 1 listed House nestled on the banks of the River Avon in the heart of the Midlands beautiful countryside.

Stanford Hall Wedding Venue is truly a glorious place, with 700 acres of ancient parkland, birds singing, towering green mature trees and a long driveway, a wonderful wedding venue for either a luxury, decadent, formal traditional occasion or a free spirited, festival tipi or outdoor celebration or blessing.

At the Unconventional Wedding Festival at Stanford Hall Estate Lutterworth Leicestershire, there were many different types of unique and wonderful outdoor wedding structures from fabulous tipis, alternative wedding marquees and bell tents with different themed and styled zones for alternative and creative wedding inspiration. 

The festival tipi zone that the festival zone suppliers worked together to create on arrival looked really impressive, all the suppliers including ourselves worked really hard to try to make it a success, including the talented wedding planners and wedding stylists, the wedding florist, the show-stopping neon sign creator, the creative cake designer, the fantastic cheese cake cart, the lovely light-up love letters, the hand-made stationary company, the awesome outside drinks bar, the cool food van, the super Photo Booth, the alternative hand painted jackets, the fun crazy golf and of course the amazing tipi itself, all of which made our zone welcoming and a stunning, stylish, relaxing and friendly place for couples to visit. Most of the wedding suppliers were Midlands based so ideal if you were thinking of having your wedding at Stanford Hall or at a Midlands venue it was a great place to chat to so many wedding suppliers in one place over the weekend.

We set up our own mini consultation and seating area, a comfy vintage chesterfield chair, a bright yellow retro chair, a copper based table, a copper backdrop with lots of colourful ribbons and kiko frames, a Bowie frame, neon signs, our wild black mannequin lamp, lots of colourful rugs on the floor with happy retro cushions for people to sit and relax and look through our new luxury wedding albums, all brought along in our happy hire van for the weekend.

There were lots of different zones from festival vibe zone, bohemian spirit, fantasy, sci-fi, urban chic, vintage, Arabian nights, fairytale, VIP, a style inspiration & emporium, a pop up hotel & a tropical chill out zone.

Colourful, unique and alternative food & drinks vans, horse boxes & buses, fantastic ideas for eclectic, quirky and creative weddings, or outdoor and tipi weddings were setup around the estate grounds and enjoyed by visitors in the sunshine. Even though the show was quieter than expected, the grounds of the Hall were beautiful to walk around and the sun was shining, happy days :)

Most of the zones had awesome photo-booths too, from caravan photo booths, to horse box photo booths to amazing vintage camper van photo booths. Nearly all the zones had at least one wedding photographer exhibiting in each zone, so there were lots of photography companies to choose from giving couples who were looking for a photographer a fantastic variety of different styles of photography and approaches :) Good times :)

It was a year in the planning with ourselves and the Unconventional Wedding group and other suppliers, with both of us attending five networking and planning meetings towards the event, to meet other suppliers, to hear about the plans for the event, an introduction to the venue, a meeting about the Friday daytime styled shoot, and a venue visit to see the layout of the show and areas for photography for the Friday daytime styled shoot, however the styled shoot was cancelled on Friday evening for our zone.

We pride ourselves on being a company who tries its best to have integrity, who always strives for equality and inclusivity.

STAND UP TO BULLYING

Bullying is an issue which affects people from all walks of life and can happen at any point. Research confirms the long-lasting and damaging outcomes for the individual being bullied including prolonged absenteeism from school (NatCen and Red Balloon, 2011) and negative consequences on physical and mental health even at the age of 50 (Takizawa et al, 2014).  The reality is, bullying isn’t confined to the school gates and its victims aren’t limited to young people. It also exists at home and in our wider communities; in boardrooms, and lunchrooms, on highstreets, stadiums and pubs. And of course, bullying exists online: The result can be a constant, and unrelenting attack.

EPILEPSY ACTION

Epilepsy Action is a charity that improves the lives of everyone affected by epilepsy. We give advice, improve healthcare, fund research and campaign for change.

Why not give charitable wedding favours? You could always give different favours too along side a charitable wedding favour if you wish.

There are so many charities that you could give money to, buy pin badges, or wrist bands etc, all across the UK from Cancer Support and Research, Health Charities, Humanitarian Crisis Charities, Children's Charities and Animal Charities who all offer great alternatives to the traditional wedding favours.

We loved exhibiting at one of Sami Tipi’s wonderful showcases full of unique and creative styling inspiration.
